Take them to a local collection point. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>What to put in the textile container?<\/strong><\/strong><br>Clean, dry, but also damaged and worn clothing and textiles, shoes (per pair), bedding, home textiles, and accessories. Finished, burned, gone. What a waste, right? When you hand in your textiles (dry), much more can be reused or recycled. From jeans and worn-out socks to a frayed duvet cover: someone else can use it again, or if it\u2019s truly worn out, it can be given a new life as raw material for something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the coming period, you\u2019ll be introduced to Texxie Textiel, the main character of the \u2018<em>Niet dumpen, wel droppen<\/em>\u2019 campaign. Texxie shows that all textiles, even if they\u2019re torn or worn out, are valuable and deserve a second life. The first step is simple: don\u2019t dump it, do drop it.
