Consumers

You as a consumer can also contribute to a circular textile chain. Don’t throw your old or worn-out clothing in the general waste — bring it to a textile collection bin, thrift organisation or recycling centre in your area. This way, the material gets a second life through reuse or recycling, helping to reduce waste.

Where can you drop off textiles?

Do you have old clothing, sheets, or other textiles you no longer use? Take them to a local collection point.

What to put in the textile container?
Clean, dry, but also damaged and worn clothing and textiles, shoes (per pair), bedding, home textiles, and accessories. Place everything in a strong, closed bag.

What should not go in?
Wet or damp clothing, textiles with oil or paint stains, mattresses, carpets, and cuttings.
