Who is the data controller?
Stichting UPV Textiel, based at Arnhemse Bovenweg 100 in Zeist, is responsible for processing personal data.
Personal data we process
We process your personal data because your company is a participant of Stichting UPV Textiel, you use our services, you have provided your details to us, or you are one of our stakeholders.
The personal data we process may include:
- First and last name
- Gender
- Email address
- Job title
- Company
- Any other personal data you have actively provided to us by email, letter or phone – for example, when taking part in an activity or contacting one of our staff members.
Why we need your data
We use personal data to provide you with the best possible service, including:
- Participant administration
- Sending newsletters and/or invitations
- Providing the services of Stichting UPV Textiel
How long we keep your data
We do not retain personal data longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.
Sharing your data
We do not share your personal data with third parties unless this is required to:
- fulfil an agreement,
- provide one of Stichting UPV Textiel’s products or services, or
- comply with a legal obligation.

- Right to object – to object to processing based on legitimate or public interest; we will then balance your interests against ours. You always have the right to object to direct marketing.

Security
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and apply appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. If you believe your data is not properly secured or suspect misuse, please contact us at info@stichtingupvtextiel.nl.
Complaints to the supervisory authority
We aim to keep our members, clients and stakeholders satisfied. However, if you are not happy, you may submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) regarding the protection of your personal data.
